Earlier this month, we invited Manitobans to compete for the title of the official 2026 Manitoba Adventure Dog by posting a photo or video of their furry sidekicks exploring the province on Instagram and TikTok with the hashtag #MBAdventureDog2026. It's no easy feat determining which pup deserves the title of Manitoba's Adventure Dog and, with all of the submissions this year, we had our work cut out for us.

After much deliberation, dozens of cute photos and many tear-jerking stories, we're excited to announce that we have a winner...well, TWO winners. That's right, we enjoyed having a dynamic duo so much we picked another pair of cute pups to represent Manitoba's dog-friendly experiences throughout 2026. Say hello to our winning team...

2026 Manitoba Adventure Dogs: Baylor & Brewer

Baylor, is a four-year-old husky/akita rescue dog and Brewer, is a three-year-old golden lab, and together they make an adventurous team!

Baylor loves to lead the pack, whether it's charging down trails in summer or soaking up every bit of Manitoba's winters like the true polar bear he is. Brewer is the heart of the team, loyal, protective and always the first to leap into the lake or pull the sled just a little too fast. Along with their owner Mikayla, they've explored Manitoba from east to west. From hiking to chasing sunsets and camping under the stars, these two spread joy as they explore everything Manitoba has to offer. See their entry here and follow along at @baybrew.mb.

2nd Place Winner: Arthur

Our 2nd place winner is the oh-so-sweet Arthur, a 6-year-old border collie husky mix with a big heart and endless energy! Arthur's adventures have included everything from paddleboarding and snowshoeing to chasing the northern lights. Cheers to that! See Arthur's entry here and follow along at @arthur_.adventures.

3rd Place Winner: Arlo

Arlo is a two-year-old red Doberman from Winnipeg, best known for his natural floppy ears, long expressive tail and fearless-but-goofy personality. He's explored countless trails in Whiteshell Provincial Park, camped in Riding Mountain National Park in the winter and stayed in a cozy yurt in Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
