Théâtre Cercle Molière (TCM), Canada’s oldest theatre company, marks a historic milestone in 2025: its centennial. To celebrate this extraordinary anniversary, TCM invites the community to a unique event: The Gala of the Century, taking place on October 4, 2025, at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
The evening’s centerpiece will be four iconic mini-plays, reimagined by a new generation of artists, offering audiences a journey through 100 years of francophone theatre: Les Belles-Sœurs by Michel Tremblay, Les Allogènes (a collective creation), Frenchie by Irène Mahé and Jean-Guy Roy, and Les Fourberies de Scapin by Molière.
Beyond theatre, the gala promises a fully immersive experience blending art, memory, and celebration. Guests will enjoy a theatrical promenade, a gourmet dinner inspired by local and international flavors, speeches by prominent figures, archival video screenings, and a museum transformed with immersive projections. The evening will conclude with music, dancing, and exclusive surprises.
Two guest options are offered:
Full Gala (6 p.m. – midnight): a complete immersive evening including theatre, banquet, and celebration.
Gala Afterparty (10 p.m. – midnight): an electrifying finale with music, video projections, and refined desserts.
A century of memory, boldness, and creativity: The Gala of the Century invites the community to celebrate the history and future of TCM together.
