On Sunday, September 14 at 1:30 PM, The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General of Canada, will plant a ceremonial tree at the future site of Park150 in Woodlands, marking a milestone in the development of this unique community initiative.

The following weekend, on Saturday, September 20, Park150 will welcome a distinguished group of former provincial and federal leaders, including The Honourable Janice Filmon (former Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba), The Honourable Gary Filmon (former Premier of Manitoba), and former Members of Parliament The Honourable Jon Gerrard, Mr. Felix Holtmann, and Mr. Howard Hilstrom.

These guests will join this year’s Honourary Tree Planting recipients to recognize their contributions to the community and to help shape the landscape of a park designed for future generations.
