The African Movie Festival in Manitoba (AM-FM) is a three-day festival taking place this year at the Winnipeg Art Gallery - Qaumagaq from Sep 19 - 21, 2025. This year’s program will feature over 20 films from more than 15 countries. As well as showcasing new films created in new film makers from the large African diaspora Manitoba.

In addition to the core festival there will be advance screenings at the University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg and Université de Saint-Boniface. As well as Thursday Sept 18 will be a premier event at WAG – Qaumagaq for new Indie Film Makers with an awards ceremony taking place on Sunday.
