WADO Field Day & Bus Tour

Participants must register ahead of time to guarantee their seat on the bus. Pickup of guest starts at the Melita Ball Diamonds where parking is available. Participants interested in agriculture & applied crop research will tour the small plot research sites and listen to experts discuss the featured research plots. Participants will ride in the comfort of the bus and stop at each location, invited to walk with the experts. A BBQ lunch will be served during the tour with local beef or veggie burgers, salads and cold drinks. Dress for the weather.

- Phytophthora & Aphanomyces root rot update, pea weevil update, and dry bean inoculant trial update

- Sunflower row spacing and variety trials

- Greenhouse gas trial with nitrification inhibitors

- Winter cereal intercrops with small legumes featuring alfalfa, sweet clover, red clover, hairy vetch

- Winter wheat greenhouse gas study

- Winter cereal variety trials

CCA credits available for those agronomists looking to get credits.
