Come and join us for an exciting, action-packed weekend in Virden!

Our 33rd Annual event begins with a free community barbecue, followed by Downtown Daze, which includes live entertainment, food, a kids' zone, a mechanical bull, vendors, displays and so much more. Take a trip back in time and check out the vintage rides on display at the Westman on Wheels Show & Shine (weather permitting).

The semi-pro rodeo performances attract top-calibre competitors from across the prairies as well as the northern U.S.A., New Zealand and Australia. On "Shootout Sunday", the best in each of the nine rodeo events and slack return to compete for an added purse of prize money, championship jackets and saddles. It is also Family Day, with rodeo fans 15 and under admitted free of charge.

Watch youth from around the province take part in a Manitoba High School Rodeo competition. Saturday's a busy day, with a pancake breakfast, town-wide parade and tailgate party, complete with bison burgers, a beer garden, music, carnival games and inflatables. There's also 3D Barrel Racing Jackpots and the Manitoba Calf Ropers Unlimited Tie-Down and Breakaway Roping Finals during the weekend.

Relax with friends in the Barn Bar or kick up your heels at one of Virden’s biggest social events of the year – the Daze Dance, complete with a live band.

Wrap up your weekend with a visit to the Demolition Derby.

Virden Indoor Rodeo & Wild West Daze is sanctioned by the Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association (MRCA) and the Canadian Cowboys Association (CCA) and was voted as CCA Rodeo of the Year in 2022.
