A dynamic collection of all-new works that highlight the artistry and athleticism of Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, presented in our intimate in-house black-box theatre. Designed as an outlet for our artists’ creative impulses at the height of the pandemic, the current iteration of Fast Forward provides a showcase for the myriad ways dance can inspire and illuminate us all.

This year's program features new creations from rising stars Cameron Fraser-Monroe and Meredith Rainey, the latter commissioned through Pathways to Performance in collaboration with Memoirs of Blacks in Ballet. Company artists Stephan Azulay, Emilie Lewis, and Zachary Rogers have also created new pieces on and performed by their fellow dancers.
