The Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM), in partnership with the Alliance Française du Manitoba, Cinémental, and Freeze Frame, presents Cinéma sous les étoiles (Movies Under the Stars) from June 2 to August 25. Cinéma sous les étoiles offers free outdoor screenings of French-language films with English subtitles at the St.Boniface Cathedral ruins (180, de la Cathedrale Ave.).

In the event of cancellation due to rain or high winds, the CDEM will notify the public via social media and those who have registered at 233-ALLÔ will receive a notice by email. In this email, a link to an unreleased film offered by the Alliance française will ensure that participants enjoy a French film evening at home.
