Join us for an evening of Métis storytelling and cultural immersion as you create your own beginner beadwork craft! You’ll learn about the significance of beading to the Métis people, aka “The Flower Beadwork People” and how their culture has shaped Manitoba’s identity.

Owner/operator of Borealis Beading Melanie Gamache is a Francophone Métis artisan whose own beading journey helped her develop a deeper connection to her Métis roots.

This workshop will run approximately 2.5 hours and is suitable for individuals ages 12 and up.
