Homegrown Harmonies

Aug 29

  • Admission: FREE

On August 29th, from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Grande Pointe, join us in welcoming the music stylings of Castaways, Happy Ouimet and The Prairie Joggers at our free, local, live music in the park event, Homegrown Harmonies.

Set in picturesque outdoor venues, this event brings together musicians and music lovers in a celebration of homegrown talent and the power of music to connect people. The event showcases a wide range of musical genres, highlighting the rich musical tapestry within the community. From talented singer-songwriters to energetic bands, Homegrown Harmonies offers a platform for these local artists to showcase their skills and captivate the audience with their unique sounds.

The atmosphere is filled with a sense of camaraderie and community spirit as people of all ages gather to enjoy the music. Families come with picnic blankets and lawn chairs, creating a relaxed and comfortable setting where everyone can enjoy the performances.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Homegrown Harmonies is the spotlight it puts on local talent, with an emphasis on French, Metis and Indigenous artists. By showcasing musicians from the community, the event helps to support and promote these artists, giving them a platform to reach a wider audience and gain recognition for their work.

Washrooms on site, food and beverage trucks ready to serve you and lawn games available to be played all night.
